When I am weak

then I am strong

I paint because there are things I don't know how to say any other way.

I am a contemporary artist working with watercolor, acrylic and ink.

My work explores fragility, impact and transformation through the human figure, moving between presence and disappearance.

I am interested in the stain. The broken line. The contrast. What remains and what is lost.

My work emerges from a contradiction I know well: fragility and strength are not opposites.

Saint Paul wrote: “When I am weak, then I am strong.” This paradox shapes the way I understand life and, in turn, my work.

The cross does not erase pain. It does not conceal it.
It moves through it.

This is where my painting lives:

In the tension between light and shadow.
Between what I control and what I allow to happen.
Between beauty and discomfort.
Between the figure and its disappearance.

I am not trying to resolve these contradictions.

I work within them.
